Asit Mohanty

CHW Khati 18. Speaker: Asit Mohanty. (In collaboration with Union Club Cuttack). Asit Mohanty is a familiar name in the world of literature journalism and publishing of Odisha. He is known for his commitment to 'truth' and in-depth analysis of issues, literary religious and cultural. He has received Central and State Sahitya Akademi Awards for his brilliant translations. He has authored more than twenty books of different genre and compiled around ten other works of singular importance. His book "Sri Jagannath Rasgola" played an important role in securing a GI tag for Odisha Rasagola. Presently he is the Editorof Paurusha magazine.
